Has my order shipped?

Click on"My Account"at the top of our site (to the left of the shopping cart) to check your orders' status.

How do I change quantities or cancel an item in my order?

Click on"My Account"at the top of our site (to the left of the shopping cart) to log in and view orders you have placed. Then click on "My Orders" to view and edit your order. Please note that once an order has begun processing or has shipped, the order is no longer editable.

How do I track my order?

Click on"My Account"at the top of our site (to the left of the shopping cart) to track your order.

My product is missing parts

Sometimes we ship different parts of the order separately. Click on "My Account"at the top of our site (to the left of the shopping cart) to log in. Once you are logged in, click on "My Orders" to track your packages. Be sure that all of the items in your order have shipped already. If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact customer service for assistance.

When will my backorder arrive?

Backordered items are those which our suppliers are unable to predict when they will have more in stock, but as soon as they do, we will be able to ship the item to you.

How much is my shipping?

Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information. Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices.

I forgot my password.

Click on"My Account"at the top of our site (to the left of the shopping cart). Under the login box you'll see a link that says "Forgot your password? Click here". That link will send an email to you with your password.

How do I return an item?

You have two weeks (14 calendar days) from the day the package is delivered to notify us that you wish to return an item. Once we have been notified, you have two weeks (14 calendar days) from the date of notificationto have the item returned to us. Certain conditions apply. Click here to read our return policy.

I received the wrong product

If you feel that you have received the wrong product, please contact customer service within 72 hours of receiving the product.

Shipping Methods

House of Staunton proudly offers a variety of shipping methods from Fedex and the US Postal Service (USPS).Depending on the item/s being purchased and the delivery address, not all delivery options will be available to all customers. The rates quoted by our website reflect theactual shipping charge being quoted by that carrier for that particular method of delivery. In other words, that is what it will cost us to ship the package to the address that was provided. As such, we can not offer any shipping discounts beyond what is quoted on our website.

International Shipping

We are proud to ship to customers in many countries around the globe. All orders shipped internationally will be shipped via FedEx International Economy or FedEx International Priority. Please note that the arrival times listed on the U.S. web site apply to U.S. shipping addresses only. The customs office of the destination country may impose customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges to your international order where applicable. These additional charges required for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. When your order arrives at customs either our shipper, FedEx, or the customs office will contact you directly to arrange for the payment of any charges that may be due.

Fedex International Shipping

House of Staunton is proud to announce that our Fedex International Rates reflect a discount of upwards of 70% off the Fedex Standard International Shipping Rates. Fedex has graciously offered us a very generous discount package, and we in turn pass those shipping savings on to our customers.

Media Mail

House of Staunton proudly offers Media Mail shipping, a very cost-effective way to send DVDs, Books and Software via the US Postal Service. Please note that because the US Postal Service has significant restrictions on what can, and what can't be sent via Media Mail, we can only offer this option on orders where ALL of the items being ordered qualify as Media Mail.

If you purchase even one item that does not qualify for Media Mail, such as a chess clock or a chess set, your order will not be Media Mail qualiified and the website will not offer it as a shipping option. We re sorry, but Media Mail is only available to customers living in the United States.

Sales tax

Sales Tax is excluded for every state with the exception of residents in Alabama. Standard Rates Apply.

Returns and Exchanges

All returns and exchanges will void free shipping and will be charged standard shipping rates.

How do I buy/redeem a gift certificate?

How to buy a gift certificate:

  1. To purchase a gift certificate for someone, read the following and/or click here.
  2. Click the Add To Cart button to begin generating your certificate(s).
  3. Once this is done, a special page will be provided that allows the choice of method to have gift certificate sent. You can opt to have their gift certificate sent via e-mail or have a printed certificate sent via regular mail.
  4. Once either option is chosen, you will be taken to a second screen that will allow you to select the amount the certificate is to be made for, the number of certificates to be ordered, fields to define who the certificate is to be for, sent from and a brief message.
  5. For e-mail certificates, you will also be given a field to define the address the certificate will be sent to.
  6. Customers can then finish adding the gift certificate to their shopping cart.
